So Little Time.

Today, I watched the most supportive 16 year old boy, coaching his 15 year old Baby Momma in the Birthing room.

At first, I was exasperated, that I was going to have to watch another teenage girl give birth, while an underage father stood by.

But then it got interesting.

He was like, holding his girl’s hand, looking into her eyes, being all “You got this baby. Look at me. Look at me! I’m here for you. Just squeeze my hand. We can do this. This is all us. Keep breathing. He’s almost here. He’s almost here. Push baby, push! Etc. Etc.”

And he was counting while she was pushing, and he was pacing, and he was all… just… Like. He was there. He was there.

The nurses were looking at him, and they would smile at eachother.

‘Cause to be honest, it was kind of cute. Such a young kid, being all, Daddy-Mode up in here.

Anyway, it was an interesting day.
